I craft young adult fantasy novels inspired by Armenian mythology. Drawing from my heritage, I weave rich folklore into coming-of-age tales of adventure, magic, resilience, and hope written in the tradition of ageless fairytales. My debut novel, Light Weaver, won the 2023 SCBWI-Florida Rising Kite Award for Young Adult Fiction.
When I’m not creating magical worlds, I’m an avid reader of all things wonder. In my family, I’m known for reading fortunes in Armenian coffee grounds, a generations-old tradition I’m still working to master.
A New York City native, I now live in sunny Florida with my husband and my writing partner—a very brave Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Finny.
